I think I have a prapso puppy, four months old. I had another Shih Tzu , her hair was black and white and thick. She was real sweet and gentle. This one is black on her back half of her body, the rest is brown with some light color, she really looks like the pictures of the Prapso.
She is long and thin she doesn't look or act like my other one. Her hair is silky and she is stubborn but learns fast.
Hi, Janice here, from Miracle Shih Tzu
Your dog may very well be a Prapso puppy, but without seeing a picture of her, it is hard to tell. Prapso puppies can be any color depending on the color genetics of their pedigree.
If her hair is shorter around her face with a mustache and beard that doesn't grow, they you do have a Prapso. They are still purebred, but don't have all that facial hair or top hair that can grow to be extremely long.
I'm hoping that you'll come back and post a picture or two of your dog. We'd all love to see what she looks like.
Thanks for visiting Miracle Shih Tzu
