Coconut as a Puppy

I breed Shih-Tzus as well, and I have a mother that religiously will throw one every other litter. I enjoyed your article. Anything else I've seen on the internet has been not as nice to little Prapsos.

I agree they are Shih-Tzu to the core and their grooming needs are very minimal. I have, two born to different mothers that are 1 1/2 years old now and I've never needed to take them to the groomer. Funny, smart, loving just like the rest of my dogs.

Thanks for the article - it was nice to see something more in print about our special pups.

I'm a lifelong learner, a dog lover, and passionate about the welfare of animals. Though Shih Tzu is my favorite breed, I've also lived with Poodles, Maltese, Yorkshire Terriers, Beagles, English Bulldogs, Carin Terriers, and a Cocker Spaniel. Little critters that shared my space included guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, mice, tropical fish, and birds. (Oh, and one crayfish and hermit crab that my daughter brought home from school)
