Sophie ( A brown and white beauty)

by Nancy
(Cleveland, Ohio)

This is my beautiful little girl Sophie. I got Sophie soon after I moved back to Cleveland in 1999. She was such an important part of my life for 17 years it is hard to imagine life without her, but that time did come in March 2016. Sophie was my friend, exercise partner and Halloween dress up girl.

I miss her every day, especially coming home and not having her waiting for me to take our walks.

I am ready to start a new chapter in my life when Hazel, a beautiful girl from Miracle Shih Tzu joins me on June 11th! Love you little Sophie!

Hi, Janice here from Miracle Shih Tzu
--------------------------------------

Sophia is beautiful and what an amazingly long life for a Shih Tzu. Seventeen years is almost unheard of in this breed, so it 's obvious you know how to care for dogs the right way. Maybe someday you will share all your "secrets" to long-lived Shih Tzu dogs. I know that many people would benefit.

What I hear so often is that one of the things that dog owners hate the most about is how short their four-legged companion's lifespan is compared to their own.

I do know that you are getting a very special little girl. She is very popular around her and melts the hearts of everyone she meets.

Thanks for sharing your special little dog's story with us.

Rest in Peace, Miss Sophie
by: Susan

She was beautiful. I'm sure everyone has a story...but I also have a sweet girl, Sissi. She is 13, and has an enlarged heart. I've known about it for a year and I have started to understand that every day is a gift with Sissi. I certainly understand your missing her when you come home. Little Shih Tzus are the sweetest dogs and seem to understand what you are saying, how you feel, and just what to do when it's the end of the day and it's just the two of you. God bless you, and I know Miss Sophie is waiting on you at the Bridge. Enjoy your new baby, and give her a squeeze for me.

Thanks Doris!!!!!
by: Nancy

Dear Doris,

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I am so sorry to hear about your dogs. I can not imagine losing three in such a short time. I am so excited to hear that Hazel is doing so well! I have never had more than one dog at a time. Maybe down the road she might need a sibling ( :. I actually just drove back from Parma. I am there twice a month for my job. I may need to take you up on the babysitting offer. I hope you get a new baby soon!
